The Ringkobing Fjord is a huge shallow lake. Almost everywhere shallow. Flat water, gets choppier with strong winds. Sandy bottom. Keep distance from the fishing nets. Many windsurfers.

Small sandy beach, but a nice grass area. Enough space, but can get very busy with windsurfer.

You can go out off-season but it will be very cold, a thick wetsuit or better drysuit, mask, shoes and gloves recommended.

Any strength possible with depressions. Best winds in fall and spring. Summer lighter. The lake is very safe, so you can kite in any direction. Best directions anything but Westerlies.

On the 181 drive towards Hvide Sande. Coming from South it is on the right side before you enter Hvide Sande. Just look out for the signs saying `windsurfing`. Same coming from the North. Drive through Hvide Sande and behind it follow the sign and turn left, follow the road. Free parking.

05-01-22 pewe: theres a lot of trash in the water near the beach... (metal, wires and so on...) the kitestartzone is very slipery on the stones... wear shoes!
