Pinaroo Point has a fairly good sized area for the kites to launch and land. Although a short walk up or down the beach, and it narrows a bit. Nice soft white sand. There can be a lot of seaweed from time to time.
During spring time some people prefer full length wetsuits, while others ride in shorties. Not recommended for off-season riding. Winter storms produce gusty, squally unpredictable wind. Summer: October to March, warm water, shorts and rashie. Winter: cold water, steamer.
