Clean water. Waves breaking in perfect sets and between waves perfectly flat. Tide starts to change every 6 hours approx. Size of waves 1-2m (sometimes more). Nice clean breaking waves over sandy bottom. Wind blows mostly side to the waves. Few rocks at the top of the point, and few stakes further downwind. Very strong current, being good in riding upwind necessary. In high tide often it's formed a flat water lagoon that can be 150x80m.
The beach is the beginning of a very long bay. White, untouched sand. A lot of space to land kites. Many different places to start riding and to do downwinders.

Wind starting offshore to move around noon sideoffshore to sideshore, sometimes around 3pm turns a bit sideonshore. From July to January almost 100% wind. February to June about 65%. The pier upwind can make the wind gustier than elsewhere, specially if you ride on the small lagoon.
From Fortaleza or Cumbuco take the main road towards Pecem, Taiba etc. Turn right at teh sign to the Cauipe lagoon. Follow the road until the ocean and keep following turning left and drive to its end at the pier. Access with a normal car possible, but you can get stuck in the sand. The you also have quiet a walk to the spot. With a 4x4 or buggy the access is no problem, and you can also drive on the beach. Then you can also park right at the launch. At low tide no problem, at high tide it gets tricky. Or drive to Pecem, and walk to the point, which is a long walk.
