Best winds from August to January. In January it can drop, all depends on the rainy season. Once the dunes are wet, it has no wind. Once it is dry it blows. Strongest winds in August and September with over 30 knots. Then it slowly drops until January.

From Fortaleza drive westwards on CE085. Pass Barrento and keep driving northwest and get to Icarai. From here drive few kilometers westwards until you reach Moitas.
