- None

Quality:

Best Tide:
- Tide Independent

The south winds kick up and chop a bit, but the water is shallow for a long way out so the waves stay pretty low. You can walk out a good 800 feet from shore and then scoot upwind quick and into the lake.

Twenty feet of sand and rocks. Then trees. Rig on the sand and walk away from shore to launch. The road is just behind the beach, and drops off into swaps on the opposite side. Best to stay way out, especially on onshore days, which tend to give the best riding.

 How to get there
Transport:
- Car
Access:
- Short Walk

It's a short 2 hour drive from the twin cities. It seems far, but is probably the best spot in Minnesota. Take 35 north to 18 west. Turn north on hwy 47. At Malmo take a left, the beach is a couple miles down on the left.

 Rules, Restrictions and Extra Info
Rules:
- None

There are a few beach goers and swimmers, and since the water is shallow the tend to wander out. It best to cut upwind and ride further out on the lake. There aren't any local regulations yet, so lets stay safe and keep it that way!
