Sandy beach, about 2 km long and at the beginning about 150m deep, very good for learning and practice on the beach. Enough space for launching and landing. Can be crowded in summer and empty in the other seasons. The beach has a lot of seaweed between beach and water.

Summer excellent with shorts. Air about 30+°C, water 27°C. Spring and autumn very nice, shorty good choice. Winter with thin, long wetsuit.

In summer time you can go out nearly every day with the thermal wind, and big gear (12-16m). In winter not so often but then you would need an small kite (9-12m). Wind can be lumpy when coming across the mountains.

Not so easy to get there. Ask for exact directions. You need a car to go there. Form Palma drive north towards Alcudia. It is south part of the bay of Alcudia. Drive to the very end of the buildings and walk further away from any people.

04-04-07 izzy: Wind can be lumpy when coming across the mountains. In summer locals tend to arrive between 4pm and 5pm on weekdays, beach has a lot of seaweed between beach and water. Bar next to beach is simple and great value.
