There are various spots where you can go. All are on the sea. There are currents and tides. For almost every wind direction you can pick a spot around this point. First stairs: good for South and Southeast winds. Second stairs: good for South and Southwest winds. Third stairs: good for Southwest, West and Northwest wind. Behind the motocross area: good for Southwest, West, Northwest and North winds.
By Car: go to Rotterdam, follow the Signs "Europoort", then follow "Oostvoorne", then follow the signs that say "Strand Slufter" near the windmills. Free parking.
In the area from the first stairs to the third stairs you cannot kite here in weekends and holidays in the period from June 1st to September 30th. Rescue from May to September. But do not count on it, not a beginners beach! Do not walk/surf into the bird reserve. Later from 1 January 2008 spot will be closed due to the building of the new seaport Rotterdam. Therefore you can go to beach Rockanje..1e beach
