Summer nice and warm. Usually a wetsuit is always needed, but high summer just shorts on warm days. Water can get up to 22°C. Fall and spring a thick wetsuit is needed, winter cold but possible to surf.

Winds depend on westerly depressions. Best winds in fall to spring. Works best in NW. It's a point, so many directions work. W, SW, S and SE gustier. Further north North sideshore and the beach curves even to NE sideshore (beach Loissin).
From Greifswald take directions to Lubmin/Wolgast. After 10 km turn left (Neuendorf) and follow the signs to Loissin/Gahlkow, then to Ludwigsburg. Drive on Neuendorfer Strasse into Ludwigsburg, drive through the village and drive to the small harbor. The beach is just next to it to the north.
