The beach launch is at Haven Beach Yacht Club. Launch and head out directly West into the bay. There are two islands situated directly out, these are The Danks.

Winter: air 20-40°F, water28-40°F. Spring: air 40-70°F, water 40-60°F. Summer: air 60-85°F, water 70-80°F. Fall: air 40-70°F, water 45-65°F. So basically you need a fullsuit in spring and fall. Boardshorts in summer. Thick wetsuit, booties, gloves, and hood needed in winter (dangerous).
