Many windsurfers. This is for experienced kiters only. The launch is less then 100 ft. from a 4 lane highway and powerlines. There have been a few mishaps there already. It is a designated windsurf spot and has a bad wind shadow. Also the thermal is much stronger off shore and new riders don't take that into consideration. They must get across a major boating channel and when they drop there kites and can't relaunch well yet it creates a traffic jam of boats.

Edit
 Nightlife
The south end of the island (Beach Haven) has many clubs and bars to attend along with family stuff too. Take the kids to the amusement park. 2 movie theaters and plenty of food.
