Choppy with Levante (East), waves with Poniente (West) which can be up to 3m (mainly winter and spring). Depending on tide and direction of wind, there can be a small lagoon, which is nice for beginners or flat water tricks. High frequented spot in high-season (up to 150 kiters) but nice in low and off-season (30-50).

The wind changes from Poniente (West) to Levante (East) in general every few days, guess the best rate can be up to 60-70% days with more than 4 Bft per month in summer. Best direction is definitely ESE. When wind is forecasted from East, it´s possible that the wind will come into the bay (ESE) because of the mountains and geographic effects.

Edit  How to get there
Transport:
- Car
Access:
- Short Walk

From Tarifa to Cadiz after 8-10 km on the left side there is Playa Las Dunas. Follow the small dirt road at the signs Las Dunas (`Spin Out`). At the end of the road you can park for free and only a few meters to the beach. A car needed if you don´t live next to the beach.

Edit  Rules, Restrictions and Extra Info
Rules:
- None

No fees. Safety, as naturally, like everywhere else, too. You have to get used to being careful and taking attention, because space sometimes becomes small. Be prepared: some rough locals or other heroes don´t consider others and show reckless behavior.

Edit  Nightlife For nightlife go to Tarifa.
