Comming from the South (Frankfurt) turn at the Dernbacher Dreieck onto the A48 towards Koblenz/Trier until Nordkreuz Koblenz. Then onto the A61 towards Koeln. Exit at `Maria Laach/Mending` and then turn right. Follow the street, pass the cloister and after about 5km you will reach the lake. If you want to drive to the water with the car, you have to pay a fee of 7 Euro.Edit
