The season goes from April to November. In that time air from spring 10-20°C, in summer up to 30°C and autumn 10-16°C. Water spring 8-13°C, summer 18-23°C, autumn 8-14°C. You always need a wetsuit. You can go out off-season but it will be very cold, a thick wetsuit or better drysuit, mask, shoes and gloves recommended.
Take the 11 to Thisted. In Thisted take the 26 and then the 557 to Klitmøller. In Klitmøller drive almost all the way to the end of the main road, and turn left into the street `Bavnbak`. Follow the road all the way until you have to stop. Now turn right and follow the street all the way to the dunes where you can park. Walk over the dunes to the beach. Or drive on the 181 and comming from Klitmøller (North) turn right after Klitmøller onto Vangsavej and then Trojborgvey and drive until its end to the beach. From South on the 181 turn left before Klitmøller on a.m. streets. Free parking.
