Water gets gradually deeper. Water here is colder than at Dadaepo due too deeper open ocean water. This spot has small chop and wind-generated waves. Water is flatter near the small island, which shelters the water.
I has a 2 km white sand beach. This beach was chosen to house the Korean Windsurfing Association. Jinha is the last tour stop (end-May) for the Asian Windsurfing Tour.

Southeast Korea has three main wind directions - SW (usually spring through fall, but very light in the summer); NE (usually spring and fall); NW (usually winter). This beach works best with NE winds which are very common in the spring and fall (especially the months of May and October). Winds of 8 to 20 knots. Bring medium/big kites - 14m to 20m. Further north on the beach closer to the island NE will be sideshore.
