The kitebeach is relatively small - just enough to launch and land the kite. It is covered with stones. Packed in summer, only launch and land your kite at the kite school (7 Euro per day).
Constant thermal sideshore wind `Mistral` with 15-25 knts. Best time is June to August with steady NW or W winds. After August check the forecast for strong SE and NE winds.

Beginners should go to an other place. This spot has no knee deep water and lots of rocks. It was very busy on the water, lots of windsurfers and other boats. The beach is definitily not suitable for learning to kite...
05-06-06 Pako: Very good for riding in June when you can start on zlatni rat..in July and Avgust you must start in kite school !Very small place to start! Cost 7 EU a day for start!Wind very good Maestral.

04-03-16 David Burden: I had an insanely good time riding here in June 2003. I started a downwinder several km's down the coast and had boat support the whole way. It was gorgeous and the people are wonderful! I recommend Croatia to anyone looking for a world class watersports destination.
