There is no beach along Olhão's coastline. However, lying a couple of km offshore lies the Ilha de Armona, located in the Ria Formosa National Park. Small ferries run hourly between Olhão and Armona during the summer months. The trip takes approx. 15 minutes. There is a large parking lot next to Club Naval's boat landing stage. `beach boats` also run hourly from Fuzeta during the summer.
