Long sandy beach. Soft and no rocks. Very safe to launch and land. To best place to kite is in the middle of the beach in from of the public toilet (kind of small pyramid shaped building). There is also a kite shop in front.
The wind in generally has between 8 and 15 knots. It can be up to 30 knots in gust, so be careful. Further south on the beach the wind may become turbulent due to the hills.
From Tokyo station, take the Yamamote line to Shinagawa station (12 minutes). Then from Shinagawa station take the Keikyi line (direction Misakigushi). Stop at the Mirukaigan station (this is the one stop before the end of the line. This is 1 hour ride from Shinagawa station. At Mirukaigan station walk 5 minutes to the beach.
Keep distance from the swimmers. At 500 meters from the beach in the water there is a rope to anchor boats so be careful. It is recommended to talk to locals before you go out here.
