Works in anything from a Westerly to a Northeasterly. Can be used on Southeasterly and Southwesterly but only at low tide, there are two sand bars running out to water line either end of the beach, which are safe for landing and launching. Best winds in autumn and spring.
Get to the Wallasy tunnel and follow signs to Newbrighton, pass Max Spealmans on right over road bridge, turn left into North Wirral Coastal Park. Approx. 1 mile from the tunnel exit. The parking area overlooks the beach area.
