Nice and clean waves, quiet powerful but run for a long time. Lots of space on the water. Watch out for some rocks in the water. Best left of the windsurfers when it is big.

Get onto A30 and drive Southwest. Exit in Angarra, drive to Copperhouse and then onto B3301 to Gwithian. In Gwithian drive to the beach. Good car park. Park and walk down the dunes for about 300-400m.

08-04-27 Unknown: ONLY RIDEABLE IN SMALL WAVES ON KITES, BEST LEFT TO THE WINDSURFERS WHEN ITS BIG.
05-07-13 john.e.boy: The rive seen in this photo (to the right) is Hayle, Gwithian is further down the beach. Infact this photo is really of Leylant, Hayle and Mexico's, Gwithian is further up and Godrevey even further. Not that I'm saying this isn't a great photo. Gwithian also has a good carpark, toilets, lifeguards and a shop for beach gear and small cafe takeaway.
