Shallow inside the `reef`, very flat at westerly winds. Bottom is sandy with some spread out big rocks in the water further south on the beach. The spot is not very big, more than 5-7 riders and some have to move further south towards Tofta which is on the same beach.

Winds are dependent on the weather systems moving in over Europe, no predictable trades or seabreeze. Best direction is W, possible to ride from S to NW. Best from April to June and August to October, July is usually less windy.

Gotland is off the shore from the Swedish East coast. To Gotland by ferry or air, arrive in Visby. Drive 18km south along the coast, turn right towards Gnisvärd. Park at the grassy parkinglot just south of the Gnisvärd harbour and walk straight out to the beach from there.
