Ideal wind directions here are out of the SE or SW giving you a sideonshore wind direction, but the powerlines and highway are still something to beware of. Out of the West or East is more ideal, giving a sideshore wind direction. If you don't mind a sideoffshore wind, out of the NE or NW is rideable, but it is still offshore.

This place is a kitemare waiting to happen. This spot is for advanced riders only, and even they should get very acquainted with this spot before riding it. Choose any other location before kiting here. This site isn't much to see or to play at, but it does have water to surf in and is super easy to access, but very dangerous! Aside from the powerlines and highway here, one must use caution to avoid injury from the rocks on the shoreline, and the shallow oyster beds on the far side of the boat channel.
