Sandy beach with a concrete way next to it. Very small on high tide, but bigger on low tide. Big meadow behind it. Too crowded with families most of the year. Only suitable for kiting in the winter and then only at or around low tide. Beach faces north.
Driving from Belfast to Bangor, turn left at the traffic lights before the dual carriageway at Ballyrobert. Follow the sign for Crawfordsburn Country Park and drive through the park to the car park nearest the sea. The beach is 100m from the car park, over a large grassy area.
