Sandy beach, with some very small pebbles. A few patches of grass, but be careful of the sharp broken off twigs. There's also some bushes on and right behind the beach, so be careful with onshore winds.
During summer 23-30°C, and water about 22°C as well. Shorty or even shorts are enough in summer. Besides summer a wetsuit is needed. Surfing all year is possible.
Works best with winds coming from eastern directions. Can be gusty with Northeast winds. Thermal winds during summer (up to September). Enough to kite and windsurf just about every day.
Take the road N196 from Bonifacio to Sartene. After some 10km's there's a sign on the left side of the road with some windsurfers on it. Go left here and after a few 100m's take a left again. When you get to the first bay there's a small sand road straight ahead. Keep going on this until you get to bay with a small wood shack at the end of it.
During summer there's a kitesurfing restriction, however if you talk to the local kitesurfing school at the end of the beach you should be able to launch.
