Sandy beach and enough space to launch and land the kite. 1-1.5 mile long North facing, sandwiched between the mouth of the Essex and Annisquam rivers. During summer the beach can get a little bit crowded with tourists. Summer weekends probably not a good idea unless early AM or later PM runs, given people and occasional boat traffic.
