Campeche, or C-Bay as many refer to it for its resemblance to world-famous Jeffrey's Bay, serves up a juicy right when it's on. Generally considered to be the best right Brazil when conditions are right. A good bet if there's a solid south swell in the works and a west wind, when it can hold up double overheads with no trouble. Make sure to check out the Riozinho section at the far end of Campeche, a fast wave where you can look forward to incredible barrel sessions. Strong currents, so pay attention to where you leave your gear. Considerably less people in the water than Joaquina to the north, and you can most always find uncrowded peaks that work well along the almost 2.5 miles of shoreline. The beach itself tends to be quieter, with little development and few tourists even during the summer, and boasts stunning views of Campeche Island just off the coast.
