This beach is out to the North Sea. Usually you get really good wind here and very nice waves. But if the wind increases over 10 m/s the waves become very unsystematic and other (nearby) places are more appropriate.
Usual temps. are the Danish standard, meaning up to 30°C in summer, and down to under 0°C in winter. But the water never freezes over. Can be surfed usually from (depending on gear) March to at least October. A wetsuit is almost always needed. Water is never warmer than 21 °C.
