During the summer (June-Sept), it´s no problem to ride in just boardshorts. From April to June and September to October the water recuires a 3/2-wetsuit. Other times during the year you need a dry suit. We ride here in 3/2-wetsuit from April to October. But one to two months during the summer we can ride in just boardshorts.

You can go north from Malmö about 150 kilometers towards Halmstad. Exit to Mellbystrand and close to the beach find the Vattenrutschbana (water slides) and turn right directly after it. Park and get to the beach. You can park directly next to the beach.

Very packed in summer. Stay in the surfing zone and pay attention to swimmers.

In summer you should just come here for the girls in Båstad and Halmstad. All the blond girls are here during June to August. It´s like spring break. Places for party: Pepes Bodega, Madisons nightclub and many more.
