The best season stretches from May to November with water temperatures between 22°C and 26°C and air temperatures between 22°C and 30°C. Short rain showers possible all year round.
The usual wind direction is the SE trade wind during winter and spring. This beach works with E to NE wind, which blows with cyclones in October to December and March and April.
Get to Grand Bay in the northwest of the island. Park on the parking lot and walk for about 200m to the left to the point. Here the wind blows steadier and makes launching kites easier.
