A barrier reef 3/4 miles east of the island creates shallow flat water between the reef and the island. West of the island loads sandbars and undiscovered flat water. Couple of good reef breaks in the channels on the reef, can get up to 6-8ft faces. Not much tide. Many foot bridges and anchored boats.
The wind has normally 12-20 knots sideonshore or onshore. Cold fronts sweep through November to January bringing 20 knots sideoffshore, so go over to the lagoon side. You can get out in any direction but only boat access to the lagoon side. The season is during dry season from January to April.
