Duringthe summer you have wind every day. It is some sort of effect that brings the SW wind during every single summer day to the East coast of Algarve (Altura is located in the middle). Wind from 12-20 knots during the summer, 15-25 when the good East wind enters in the winter. Wind side to side on from either side (East, SE or SW). October to April it is a five star spot for the East wind that comes from Gibraltar (only works in the south of Portugal). Sideshore: ENE and WSW.
