No beach. The local kite club has a special launch technique: lay your line out on the street, then the kiter has to swim to a buoy with your bar, and the kite will be hold at the site of the street.
From Salzburg to Kufstein, then towards Innsbruck. Exit at `Wiesing/Achensee` and then to Maurach. From Innsbruck towards Kufstein and exit at `Wiesing/Achensee` and then to Maurach. From Munich drive towards Salzburg and take the exit Holzkirchen, drive to Tegernsee, Achenpaß or Bad Toelz, then over the border to Achenkirch and then along the lake towards Maurach. This launch is about 2km before Maurach.
