The beach is located in front of the city of Matanzas. Get the main road to Varadero from the city center and drive out of the city. You will cross a bridge which turns to the right and the road will follow the beach line. You will not miss it, it is the only direct way from Matanzas to Varadero and there is only one beach.Edit
