Big playground with very flat water and shallow water. Too shallow for windsurfing.

Season from March to November. Year-round possible if you ride on the warmer SW winds with warm water currents. Wetsuits needed beginning and end of the year, just shorts from late spring to early fall. Warm gulf-stream ocean currents keep air and water temperatures warm nearly year-round.

You can only access the area from the sound side via the water. Do a downwinder and pass by.

It is strictly forbidden to launch and land kites here. You can ride in the area by passing by as a downwinder. The whole area is reserved for bird's nesting. The best is to do a downwinder with locals.
